Our mission at LifeSTAR Sacramento counseling agency is to provide the highest quality of therapeutic services and programs available to help our clients meet their goals. We offer counseling for families, individuals, couples, children and adolescents, as well as various ongoing psycho-social educational classes, including parenting and couples communication. We are located at the epicenter of greater Sacramento with easy access from Highways 50 and 80. From the moment our clients arrive they begin to unwind and de-stress. Our six large office suites and waiting room environment are designed to create a sense of safety and relaxation and we offer a private exit for confidentiality. We treat a broad spectrum of common mental health issues ranging from depression and anxiety to addiction, PTSD and abuse recovery, and specialty assessments such as the Myers Briggs Personality Type Inventory and the Prepare Enrich Program (pre-nuptial and marriage compatibility assessments). We are progressive in our training and treatment of symptoms, and while our clinicians utilize various standard clinical methods and treatment modalities such as CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), we are also committed to providing advanced treatment and intervention methods, including EMDR and ACT (Affect Centered Therapy). In addition, we are one of two Northern California providers of the very successful LifeSTAR Network treatment program for compulsive and addictive sexual behaviors, including pornography. Our Getting Started 6-week workshop for individuals and couples establishes the ABCs of recovery, and not only teaches powerful recovery skills and tools but also provides hope for long-lasting recovery for our participants.
