Dr. Magness is President of the SASH board and is the founder and director of Hope & Freedom Counseling Services. He is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor
He specializes in Three-Day Intensives for individuals and couples where compulsive sexual behavior is a factor. Intensives are offered in Houston or, for clients who require greater anonymity, at a discrete location in the Canadian Rockies.
Dr. Magness earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary, a Master of Arts in Psychology from Houston Baptist University, a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts (Cum Laude) from Sam Houston State University. He has led national workshops on cybersex addiction and has conducted a multi-state research study that focused on cybersex behavior and recovery among self-identified sex addicts. |
