Are you interested in helping to examine the function of out of control sexual behavior?

Research is being conducted to examine the connection between attachment styles and the intensity and frequency of sexual thoughts, fantasies and behaviors. We are looking for psychotherapists who are willing to help us recruit subjects for this research. Subjects recruited for this research will be completing an Internet based survey through surveymonkey. This survey will take approximately 30 minutes and participation is anonymous. This study is being implemented by The New York City Sexuality, Attachment and Trauma (SAT) Project and is under the auspices of the University of Pennsylvania and is IRB approved. The SAT Project is an outpatient clinic and research think-tank, based in New York City, that provides therapeutic intervention using effective and evidence-based treatment techniques to help individuals with sexual and relationship difficulties and conducts cutting-edge research on the etiology and treatment of out of control relational and sexual behavior.

If you have access to clients who display out of control sexual behavior as well as those that do not and are instead presenting with a different mental health issue and you are willing to refer subjects to an anonymous internet survey please access the following link for more information regarding the study. This link will also give you information as to how to contact the researchers:
